The Los Angeles InfraGard members training program is divided into 5 main areas (Bi-Monthly, Infrastructure Liaison Officer (ILO), Chief Executive Officer, Annual Exercise and Fusion). Each area provides a unique opportunity for members to gain more knowledge in the vital areas of counter terrorism, physical Security, cyber security, emergency management and other critical infrastructure protection programs.

These training programs are based on member’s suggestions as obtained by the annual members training survey. This year’s focus is on threat/vulnerability management, terrorism awareness and emergency management. Each of the trainings also include interaction with law enforcement who specialize in the training topic.
This program is designed to provide the private sector with the training needed to be effective as a direct contact with the public sector and increase the participants knowledge in both terrorism and critical infrastructure issues. This course will last for 8 hours and is being taught by the primary instructor for the Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) program, Hal Kempfer.
This training provides senior corporate leaders with an overview of criminal & terrorist threats in today’s business world. The classes offered in this area will also provide a clear understanding what can be done to protect their business.

Each year a topic is chosen for an exercise, based on member feedback, which provides an excellent opportunity for learning on the topic and honing of their emergency management skills. Members participate in creation, running and review process of all exercise programs.


This area is focused on providing training opportunities for Law Enforcement that come from the private sector. The classes include topics in cyber forensics, behavioral sciences and others.
